Tegan and I were really excited to work with Vancouver Mural Festival for the second year! We hosted a market with 15 vendors - (Did you see last year's market??) We will be posting more photos of this year's market soon.
We loved teaming up with Fat Paint, who happily donated a bunch of beauuuutiful chalk paint. I thought it would be really cool to decorate and brand our market based off of a few new paintings. I got some of my friends to design and paint a 4x6 piece of plywood for our market. It was so cool to watch them come up with completely different styles of paintings, but yet they all fit together so beautifully.
Fat Paint is a RAD local company that we have worked with a few times over the years. The colours they have are incredibly beautiful and unique, and the "chalk" process for painting old furniture is quite fascinating! They gave me the full rundown when I went to visit them recently, and I can't wait to try the process soon on some of my furniture in my apartment.
Check out their site and see how amazing their colour palets are *major heart eyes
