Grammy Party in Toronto

A week ago we took a quick trip to Toronto, you can see part 1 from our trip here! It was a fun, very quick trip, but so worth it, hopefully, next time can be longer! No matter how short the trip, it's always so refreshing and inspiring to go away, to suddenly be in a different time zone, in the snowy cold, it was a breath of fresh air. We were invited to a Grammy party to get glammed up and hang out with fellow bloggers! It was a fun night of snacking on a whole lot of popcorn, wine, and jelly beans.

Lindsay and I feel really lucky that we got to wear these beeeeautiful dresses from Free People! We had a bit too much fun, semi-scrambling to get ready for the event and blasting Beyonce in our hotel room. I love this silky low back dress on Linds, doesn't she look smokin'? ;)

I am in love with this dress, and that I'm pretty much a happy dancing emoji in real life. I scored these Jeffrey Campbell boots a few days before we left and am really excited about them! I've been looking for some comfy and tall but not too tall boots for ages, and these were exactly what I was looking for - thank you Nordstrom sale rack! This dress was so comfy, the fabric is super thick and heavy which just makes it hang so nice. I loved wearing it. There's just something really nice about dressing up, feeling girly and going out.

I definitely missed my baby girl like crazy being away from her for 2 days, but it made me realize that missing her is a good thing! Taking some time away to have a little bit of selfish "me-time" was a nice treat. We sat and had a really nice long lunch, shopped, and I read and slept a lot.
