I (Lindsay) had the pleasure of attending the Araxi Longdinner series with Elaine of Local Wanderer a couple weeks ago. It was one of the most beautiful events I have ever attended! Around 200 people were gathered together on the longest table I have ever seen, surrounded by Pemberton's tall mountains. *** Thank you Local Wanderer for providing all these photos for this post!
The event was hosted at North Arm Farm, and the table was in the middle of a field, surrounded by flowers, raspberries, sunflowers and willow trees, how magical!
There were barns, swing sets, greenhouses and grapevines everywhere you turned, there was beauty to capture.
The dinner series is put on by Araxi, a restaurant based in Whistler. The award winning Executive Chef James Walt prepared all the food for the evening. Each course was amazing, with so much thought and time put into each plate.
The 62-day aged beef, was definitely the best beef I have ever had! Can you believe those potatoes?!
Such a beautiful evening, Thank you so much Araxi for this wonderful meal shared with lovely people. You can sign up here for next years event!
