Recipe // Raspberry Citrus Iced Tea

I have been drinking a lot of iced tea this last month. This morning I decided I'm going to go off of coffee until baby comes, so I think I'll be drinking that much more iced tea in the weeks to come! I was recommended to drink lots of raspberry leaf tea (by my amazing doula - Sarah). The fun pregnancy thing is that half of the time hot tea makes me nauseous...so usually I pour it over ice and squeeze a bit of lemon or something citrusy to sweeten it up.

This recipe is for a sweet tea, it's delicious. I've made it a few times and Dan and I love it, it's light and sweet.

You'll Need:
- 2 bags of Raspberry Leaf Tea
- 1 Lime
- 3 oz of Grapefruit Simple Syrup (recipe here).
- Strawberries

First thing, steep about 1 litre of tea with 2 tea bags, I usually pour it, let it sit on the counter for an hour and then stick it in the fridge.

Squeeze the juice from 1 lime and add it to the chilled tea.

Add  3 oz of the grapefruit simple syrup, mix well! Serve over ice with fresh lime and sliced strawberries.

Serve with ice and some fresh fruit if you're feeling fancy! enjoy <3
