The Perfect Vancouver Day // with Local Wanderer

Early this Winter we teamed up with our besties Local Wanderer to explore Vancouver! We thought it would be fun to plan the "perfect Vancouver day," where we visit some of our favourite places to eat and shop! Once we started making our list it was hard to narrow it down, there are way too many amazing cafe's, restaurants and shops to just hit in one day, so we thought we'd keep everything near the Main Street strip to make it easy. Plus- Fun Fact* Lindsay and I both live just off of Main street, and as of January, the four of us (Taylor & Elaine included) all live in the same apartment building, how fun is that, T&T/LW blogger compound!

Our first stop was, naturally, was Le Marche St. George. Our favourite neighbourhood cafe. Bacon, egg and gruyere crepes are our favourite! There's no cozier place to sit and have an amazing breakfast and coffee, it's the perfect start to any day!

Next is a little pit stop in Gastown to do some shopping. Old Faithful Shop is our go-to place for gifts, quality chocolate or to grab a good coffee table book. They have the best selection of candles, soaps and everything is quality, we love OFS!

Gastown is perfect for wandering and grabbing another cup of coffee, there are a ton of shops, boutiques, cobblestone streets, and the prettiest buildings.

After working up an appetite for lunch, Bestie is our go-to, they have a pretty small dining area, so we made it a late lunch to make sure we could grab one of their cozy booths for the best Bestie experience ;)! I am dreaming of the chicken apricot currywurst right now. They have a really great selection of local beers on tap and bottle as well, you gotta have a good German brew to go with that bratwurst.

Obviously at some point in any Vancouver day you have to fit in a stop for Donuts! 33 Acres carries Cartems Donuts, so you can skip heading downtown and have a fresh tasty brew to pair with that triple chocolate threat.

At this point in the day we were STUFFED. Our bellies were happy and so full of the yummiest food and treats. So we walked up Main and did a little bit more shopping, some of our favourite shops are the Regional Assembly of Text (they sell those pretty felt letters above ^), Front & Co. is the best consignment (photo below). Vancouver Special, Much & Little, and 8th & Main are our other favs.

Last stop was the Juice Truck. We needed something to balance the amount of food and sweets consumed! We love the new store front that opened last Summer, and their Strawberry Coconut smoothie is that perfect taste of Summer that you need on a crisp winter day!

Stay posted on Local Wanderer's site for their official Vancouver Guide coming later this year!
