Supplies you will need: - Small balloons, melting chocolate, a double boiler, spoon for stirring, water.
1. Melt Chocolate in a double boiler. Start by bringing a few inches of water to a boil and then once it reaches boiling point, turn to low and sit chocolate in the water and let it slowly melt, stirring often.
Using your spoon, scoop a small amount of chocolate on a piece of parchment paper, this will be for the base of the bowl.
Dip the bottom half of your balloon in your pot of chocolate, spinning it around until it is thick and covered. Place it on your little base of chocolate. Put them in the fridge until they harden.
Now the fun part! Pop your balloon with something sharp, like a needle.
Fill up your bowls with the tastiest ice cream you can find! We picked our favourite flavours from Earnest Ice Cream - Salted caramel, and milk chocolate topped with fresh raspberries and mint. Oh my you guys, they're to DIE for! These bowls make the perfect little dessert for a dinner party, or any occasion really, and they're so easy to make! Now who wants to come for dinner?
