In My Bag // Lindsay

1. I actually stole this headband from Tegan- I walk to work all the time and my ears end up getting sooo cold, it is such a lifesaver to put this thick warm knit headband on.
2. I bought this little tiny leather bound notebook in Italy last summer, and I love it. I keep it with me and write down quotes or thoughts that are inspiring. I have lots of special words from friends in there.
3. I was looking through my bag and found these gems, weird maybe, but I always have some sort of gem, toy or something sparkly that I pick up and throw in my pocket- anything that catches my eye.
4. Clips clips clips couldn't live without clips! It's fun to have these bright or studded pins instead of using plain bobby pins.
5. Sunnies! Always have to have those handy.
6. I love this twist-up ILIA lipstick, I am not a huge lipstick person but this colour is nice and simple! I'm obsessed. 7. I love my leather wallet. I think I picked this up at a garage sale somewhere. I never actually carry around a purse, but I throw this around in my backpack or pockets and nothing ever falls out (usually my things are everywhere and are spilling all over)

1. I got this watch in China for $5 and I wear it almost every day. I don't even think it works anymore but it is extremely sparkly which I love.  2. I got this beautiful bracelet from Privilege and its the perfect accessory for any outfit. 3. This pearl clip is my favourite. I got it from Forever 21 for Tegan's wedding a few years back.   4. This was maybe my most exciting jewelry purchase. I got it from a candy/toy machine at a pizza place in Colorado when I was on tour with my band. For so long I had been looking for a "hardcore, scary, intense" type of ring, whether it be a snake, claw, or skull. Once I saw the toy machine I think I screamed, but then debated the purchase since it was $1 as oppose to a classic $0.25 machine. Either way I was a bit outrageous and made a scene with the ring once It popped out. I wore it every day for the rest of the tour! 5. I love rings so much. I hold a lot of sentiment in every one that I wear. I usually figure out a few rings I love and which finger they suit and I wear them for a solid 6 months before I change them again. Right now I am wearing two simple gold rings that are friendship rings that my good friend Claire and I purchased from a dollar store. The other ring is a simple silver ring that the boys from Adventure Galley band- who we toured with in the summer, gave to me while I was in their RV one day. I have been wearing it since. I love looking down at my fingers and being reminded of important people/friendships.. or moments that they represent or capture. 6.This bracelet is a bit more simple, it is gold with a purple string woven around it. I am pretty sure I found this at a thrift store,  I love the simplicity of a dainty string bracelet. 7.This silver chunky necklace is from Forever 21, and I love it! It is perfect to wear with a classy dress, but it is versatile enough to put it on with a t-shirt for a fun look. 8.Tiger necklace? How could I resist. I got this from Zara while Tegan, Bethany and I were shopping together before we left for New York. I have a bit of an obsession with Tigers so naturally I couldn't resist.

1.Milk Mango face lotion- by Pink House Natural Solutions - This is from my Mom's business and I have never worn a face lotion that is so smooth and silky I absolutely love it!  2. I couldn't live without my L'Oreal Voluminous mascara, it is by far my favourite mascara I have ever tried, and I have tried a lot! I always find myself going back to this one, nothing beats it.  3&4. Foundation and Concealer brush from Sephora, my absolute favourite brushes!  5. Covergirl blush, not going to lie, it isn't on the top of my list to look for the best quality blush. I usually go for the cheapest blush since I only use a tad. Anyone know of a good blush I should try? 6. Annabelle Eyeshadow- I love any dark eyeshadow just to add to the lower part of my lids for lil smokey eye action.  7. Another one of my Mom's products, Clove chapstick! It is completely organic and natural and has saved my lips from this cold Vancouver weather and the smell is unreal. 8. ILIA lipstick crayon is so good! I highly recommend it. It is a twist up stick so it lasts so long and doesn't get messy. They come in so many colours, and they last quite a while on your lips. It is dry, not oily, which is what I always look for in a lip stick/tint. 9&10. Pink House Natural Solutions Foundation & Bronzer. There is nothing better than to get face powders that are all natural minerals. These are made of clay and won't clog your pores. I don't have very good skin  so It is crucial that I try to wear products that are natural and have the least amount of chemicals.
