Show & Tell

Lindsay // "she can laugh at the days to come" is the second part of Proverbs 31:25 "For she is clothed with strength and dignity, she can laugh at the days to come" This has always been one of those special verses that stuck with me since middle school, one that I wrote in my notebooks growing up. It is about Joy, and rejoicing in the things to come, and living without fear of the days ahead because of the confidence you recieve in the Lord. It is written in my Mothers handwriting, which makes it that more special for me.

Tegan // I got this tattoo the day after Bible School ended in Sydney Australia, 2007. I really wanted to get a tattoo before I went home,  something to remember my time there! Kalos is a greek word with a really long list of definitions, "beautiful by reason of purity of heart and life" is my favorite. The first meaning though is beautiful, which is the translation of my name in Welsh, so in a way it's my name. My tattoo came before our shop, and was named after it! We had just started talking about the idea of making a name for ourselves and were throwing around lots of ideas and Kalos was the one that stuck! Now I get people saying "Wow! You have your business name on your foot...cooooool...." but No this definitely came first!

Bethany // My husband and I got these tattoos for our 1st anniversary. It was inspired by Ecclesiastes 4:12 "Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken." We went back and forth between different designs that resembled "Three" and decided on a triangle, something simple.
