This smoothie is one of my breakfast staples!! I love to start my morning with a smoothie while I'm getting ready something fresh to wake me up. This smoothie is super delicous, healthy, and not too filling which I like because I usually have a big bowl of oatmeal after.
Half a Granny Smith Apple
Juice from 1 Lemon
Approx 2 Cups Spinich
Handful Ice Cubes
1 Stalk Celery
Slice everything up into blendable sized chunks, and add to the blender. Start blending and add water as needed, just enough to get a smooth consistency.
definitely don't skip the celery, it might seem a little weird, but it adds such a delicous "zing" to it! You can add some soy protein to it if you want it a little heariter. mmm mmm!
