Homemade // Almond Milk
/- 1 cup almonds
- water
- cheese cloth
1 // measure 1 cup of almonds, let them soak in water overnight, just add enough water so they're all nicely covered!
2 // Strain the almonds and place them in a blender with 2 cups of water
3 // Blend on high until mixture becomes frothy
4 // To sweeten it, you can blend dates with it or add vanilla syrup!
4 // Use a cheese cloth to strain the almond milk into a jar
5 // Drink up!!
You will have lots of excess crushed almonds you can experiment with! Use for almond butter, facial scrub, granola, or baking! I spread the leftover almond bits onto a baking pan and sat them in the oven at 250 for about an hour to dry them out, put them in my coffee blender and have almond flour!
