Mmm Monday // Cookie Dough Brownies!

MMM! My two favorite things.. Combined?! Yes.

So, To start off you need to make brownies. I used this recipe and made them from scratch, BUT the dollar store has really good instant brownies for only $1, and they would be great with this recipe!

  • 2/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 3/4 cup margarine
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 1/2 cups white sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 3/4 cups flour

Pre heat oven to 350degrees, Grease an 11x7 inch pan..

Melt Veggie oil, Margerine, and Cocoa Powder in a medium saucepan over medium, Once melted take off heat and stir in Sugar and Salt.

Cool slightly, Then add The Eggs one at a time mixing thoroughly, then add the Vanilla!

Add flour, mix and pour into pan.

Bake in oven for 20 minutes.

As the brownies are baking, you can make the cookie dough!

You can use any recipe you want, but I made them without eggs-

  • 1 cup margarine
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups flour

Beat Margerine, Brown sugar and White sugar with an electric mixer until smooth. Add milk and Vanilla. Mix in flour until evenly smoothed.

Add Chocolate chips!

Place Cookie dough over *Cooled brownies and spread evenly over the top with a spoon.

Use Plastic wrap to evenly press down the cookie dough onto the brownies.

Refrigerate until firm! Melt chocolate chips and butter in a bowl and drizzle over brownies!

EAT!
